GenerationTheatre is a company of volunteers dedicated to producing original works and original interpretations of classical works.
GenerationTheatre has established a reputation for productions which are thought provoking as well as highly entertaining.
At the end of its 2018 Season, GenerationTheatre will have brought Bay Area audiences classics such as Moliere’s Tartuffe and The Miser, Olivia’s Kitchen (an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night), Sir John Vanbrugh's The Provoked Wife, Marcel Pagnol’s Marseilles trilogy: Marius, Fanny, and César, and Jules Romains's Knock or the Triumph of Medicine.
GenerationTheatre has also premiered several works by contemporary playwrights, such as Jean-Philippe Daguerre, Patrick Feigelson, Gilles Gaston-Dreyfus, Marion Lovinger, R. David Valayre, and Ket Watters.
GenerationTheatre is in residence at the Southside Theater, Fort Mason Center, San Francisco.
